Construction Carpentry Assistant (6126)
As construction increases, so does the necessity for qualified,
educated carpenters. This technical certificate will give you a basic understanding of carpentry
construction and can also be used as a complement to the Construction Carpentry Technician technical certificate.
You will learn to safely operate hand and power tools;
prepare work sites; and become skilled in the foundation formwork (wall, floor and roof
framing; exterior trim).
Students completing this program may transfer their
coursework into the Carpentry Management A.A.S. degree program.
Estimated tuition is $780 (for Florida residents, as of 7/05). Contact the program manager for additional costs (textbooks, fees, materials, certifications).
